• Charlene Forteau MS, LCMHC-A

    Charlene M. Forteau, MA, LCMHC-A, earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and provides counseling services under clinical supervision. Charlene has experience working with adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities in counseling, educational, and vocational rehabilitation settings. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, behavioral challenges, stress, adjustment difficulties, family concerns, and life transitions. Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. Charlene incorporates motivational interviewing and family systems concepts to help clients identify their strengths, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
